      I inserted a MetaData tag into the Page Design to display the records in UTF-8 format and it works with one problem, it seems as though those Pages are public and do not require one to log on with a password. My database contains confidential information and I require users to use access passwords.

      In other words I have not made any progress.

    UTF-8


      It is 2007 and we live in a multi-language world. Should not UTF-8 be built-in?

      Without UTF-8 support, baseportal is useless to me. My mother tongue is English and many languages are spoken in Israel. One cannot write Hebrew names in Roman.

      it's not my job, but maybe this can help

      fill in this code in your Template (at the top)

      <perl>$_header="Content-type: text/html; charset=UTF-8\n\n";</perl>
