    Re: Date shows up in db one day earlier than date entered

      What time zone are you in? I have the same problem when I set my timezone in the datafield. Now I use GMT +00 regardless of my location. Works better but there's still a bug somewhere, I think.

    Date shows up in db one day earlier than date entered

      I set up a date field with the following parameters:

      fieldname=date_birth
      sort=null
      Date Timezone=-06:00
      Time=User input
      Your input format=Month, Day, Year,
      Your output format=Month/Day/Year

      The input form gives option boxes for date entry, which I use. When I enter 9/5/58 (5 Sep 1958), I consistently get a date one day earlier entered in the database.

      Help!

      I'll try your suggestion. Anything that might work would be helpful.

      It seems many of us are floundering a bit here. On the other hand, if you're not floundering, there's little reason to post - except to help someone else. Thanks for responding.

      I floundered for months; lots of trial and error. But now I know enough to be dangerous :)

      The date issue is a bug but work around is acceptable.

      What do expect from free? Baseportal has been great for what I need.
