    PASSWORD IN A FORM

      good am master christoph,

      This is the form that you suggested:

      <form action="/cgi-bin/baseportal.pl?htx=/yourname/nameof2ndpage" method="post" enctype="multipart/form-data">
      <input type="password" name="password=">
      <input type="submit">
      </form>

      you mean, i will create two pages? where am i going to store their password?

      Case:
        A page named "page1" has a pasword form that a user must sign in to proceed to "page2". Page1 contains nothing but a sign in form.Page2 can contain anything...How could I allow users to proceed to page2 after signing in in page1?

      thnks, mike

    Re: PASSWORD IN A FORM

      I can't see why you want to use two pages? Of course, its possible but if you just forward to a 2nd page when the password is correct its not very secure - anybody who knows (or can figure it out) the name of the 2nd page could call it directly...

      Did you take a look at the example in the library like Randy suggested?
