keyfield not keyfields

There is a discrepancy in the online manual. The command reference for "keyfield" says to use 'keyfields' but I found that only 'keyfield' (no "s") works. I have spent may hours trying various options, and refused to create a new database having my desired detail-Field listed as the first field. Even the message board (see Removing Hyperlinks has with and without the "s") I only discovered this by searching the documentation for keyfield and there it was...the example shows 'keyfield' and the command specification further down shows 'keyfields.' Stick with keyfield= as your command.
