    Re: \ in front of every space

      You need to place a \ in front of every space inside field names with spaces:

      <do action=all db=Members Training\ Squad==Mens\ Novice listfields=Forename,Mens\ Novice\ Tuesday\ 8am>

      If this doesn't help, please give a link to the page...

    Databases with selected groups for Christoph

      Hi, Christoph.

      I run several output pages off one main database. Is there a way that I can limit the output to a selected group ?

      E.g. The main database contains men and women.

      So is there a way I can have an output page that only displays field for the men in the database/

      Thankyou for such a good site. Our rowing club would not function without it,

      Malcolm

      You can output any fields you like for any selection you want ;-)

      I.g.

      <do action=all gender==man listfields=Field1,Field2,Field3>

      or

      <do action=all gender==woman listfields=Field4,Field5>

      ok?

    Limitations of solution

      Thank you for your help. I have a problem with spacing.

      I wanted to write:

      <do action=all db=Members Training Squad==Mens Novice listfields=Forename,Mens Novice Tuesday 8am>

      But it did not include the space in the field names. So I had to change them and write:

      <do action=all db=Members TrainingSquad==MensNovice listfields=Forename,Mens_Novice_Tuesday_8am>

      Do you have any solutions for how to solve this?

      Thankyou,

      Malcolm

    Re: Limitations of solution - problem

      All this works, but if a search is done off such a page, the following error message is read:

      [ Error: Field Training+Squad not defined in database ...

      Reason: The field is not defined in the database. Maybe you have just mistyped the query?

      Solutions: 1. Correct your query. 2. Log into your private domain, choose the appropriate database, click on 'Fields' and add the desired field. ]
