make my own fields

from what i see so far. i can make my own html page in baseportal right?
where do i put it.. befor or after (action = do all)
i did every angle. and i cant get the action tabs to work with it. you know.
(new)-(search)-and so on
i cant get any connection with my html and the do command codes that you dont see unless you view the source code. how do i get the commands to use my html fields
