Message from Ed Hoey on 2/2 2004, 14:51 -07:00 EMail: ehlists@aol.com Date fields off by one dayWhenever I enter dates in a date field, or have them added automatically with the "create" or "modify" options, the date that is recorded is todays date minus one day. If I go back and correct the data in the field, it still gets reported to me as one day prior to the date that was entered. I am using the GMT -7 selection for timezone as we are in Denver, Colorado USA. I don't see anything in docs or FAQ or user forum. Perhaps I misunderstand the purpose of the Timezone parameter, but that does not seem like it would account for the problem. |

Message from Kitty on 2/3 2004, 14:43 +00:00 EMail: kayci_kayci@hotmail.com How to export correctly?I tried to export my database through Management>Export. and I separate the columns with Tab, rows with Return. I open my file with excel and The output field names are complete. But I keep missing data in between and columns of answers are shifted a few columns back compared to the output field names. The file I keep getting is .txt, how do I get .csv? |

I kinda answered my own question through trial and error. I just changed the file extentsion to .csv manually by simply typing in it at "rename" :p And I realise the data was missing and shifted because I had comma's in my input field names. Using quotationmarks or avoiding using comma's solve the problem. But if anyone has a smarter way of doing these things please let me know :) |
